Available in a variety of different widths, the three key features that set this popular anti-slip tape apart from others are: 1. Abrasive "Diamond hard" aggregate finish The coarse finish helps ensure that even the slipperiest of surfaces can be made safe. Suitable for almost any internal or external environment, we particularly recommend this abrasive tape for hard-wearing industrial environments like those found in factories, garages and warehouses. Made to exacting standards, these tapes are durable and extremely hard wearing.
2. Ultra strong self-adhesive on tape’s underside The strong adhesive forms a permanent bond on virtually any clean, dry, grease-free surface such as concrete, wood, steel and checker plate within minutes. To preserve the strong adhesive backing and make it easy to apply, the whole roll of tape has a paper backing on the anti-slip tape’s underside.
3. Safety Standards Meeting all known UK safety standards, this tape can also assist you in meeting your obligations under the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act).
Although the tape is extremely easy to apply within minutes, every order we dispatch goes out with an application instruction sheet to help any first timers.

Will this anti-slip tape work on decking?
Yes, but only if a number of conditions are met'' 1. The decking must be clean, smooth and flat. To achieve this some SSP customers with ridged decking have been known to unscrew planks, turn them over onto the flat side, and reattach them. It should be noted that if water or damp can get into grooves or ridges and onto the underside of the tape, then the tape could come loose over time. 2. The decking must be dry when attaching. Putting down onto an even slightly damp surface will undoubtedly affect how well the tape bonds to the wooden surface. 3. Although the tape has a strong adhesive finish, we would recommend for decking that you use a primer first (see related products). 4. Product longevity can be improved further if the Sealant For Use With Anti-Slip Tape is applied.
